This half-day cruise offers a gentle blend of exploration and calm, stretching across the west coast of Mauritius. It’s designed for travellers who want to experience the island’s marine life at an easy rhythm, with time to enjoy every stop.
The journey begins from Black River Bay in the early morning, heading straight out to sea in search of the dolphins. The crew will guide you to areas where they are most often seen, giving you the opportunity to observe them closely and, when possible, swim with them.
From there, the boat continues beyond the reef for a peaceful snorkelling session. The waters here are protected and clear, ideal for floating above coral formations and discovering the quiet detail beneath the surface. With gear provided and guidance always available, you can move at your own pace.
Next comes a scenic ride to Crystal Rock, where you’ll stop for photos and take in the surroundings. This iconic outcrop is a favourite for its solitude and striking shape. Finally, the last stop takes you to an area where sea turtles are often seen grazing along the seabed. With care and patience, this calm encounter often becomes the most memorable part of the day.
